Print Layout - What You See and What You Don’t… Left Side Style Panel: As a lot of you know, we like to operate in Draft View because the left side tracking panel lets us know what style is attached to each piece of text in the document.  We turn that on under File, Options, Advanced, Display, Style Area Pane 1 inch .  When you switch over to Print Layout, you don’t see your Left Side Tracking.  But your right side style panel will tell you what style your cursor is on at the moment or you can also load your “Style Box” on your Quick Access Toolbar or you can bring up your “Apply Styles Toolbar” (Control Shift S), which will also let you know the particular style your cursor is on at the moment.
